Summer Courses
A five-day course focused on building the core skills needed for 11+ success. Children are grouped by ability and target school. Sessions cover comprehension, creative writing, reasoning and maths — with regular timed drills, vocabulary boosters, and mock-style activities.

Week 1: Monday 4 - Friday 8 August
Week 2: Monday 11 - Friday 15 August
Format:
10am – 2.30pm each day
10 children per group, grouped by level
Taught by experienced 11+ teachers
Daily practice, strategy workshops, and take-home tasks

Our 11+ Summer Course is for Year 5 pupils who have already begun their 11+ preparation and are working towards grammar or independent school entrance exams. We expect all attendees to have some familiarity with timed papers, core content, and the exam structure.

The course includes:
English (comprehension, grammar and creative writing)
Maths (problem solving, arithmetic, multi-step reasoning)
Verbal and non-verbal reasoning
Exam technique and revision strategies

Yes. You can book either week individually or both weeks together. Each week covers different material, so children attending both will build on what they’ve learned without repeating content. We welcome pupils for either option.

Each day consists of four structured learning blocks, mini assessments, short breaks, and targeted group tasks. The environment is calm, focused, and driven by progress.

Yes. Children complete timed assessments at the start and end of the course. These are used to track progress and provide tailored feedback.

Yes. Short daily tasks are set to consolidate key skills and improve retention ahead of September exams.

No. This is not a catch-up course or general introduction. Pupils must already be working at 11+ standard and should be comfortable with test formats and exam content.

Yes. You’ll receive a written summary of your child’s progress at the end of the course, including key areas for revision.

All bookings must be paid in full at the time of registration using our secure Stripe checkout system.

All bookings are non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for missed sessions or cancellations, regardless of reason.
Requests to move a booking may be considered only if submitted at least 72 hours in advance, and are subject to availability.
No changes can be made within 72 hours of the session start.Please book carefully; spaces are limited and preparation begins well in advance.
